Privacy Policy

Last updated August 16, 2026 · Effective August 12, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Eazidek Technologiescollects, uses, discloses and safeguards information when you or your business use our software. It is written to meet the requirements of Nigeria's Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA), the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR), the Companies and Allied Matters Act 2020 (CAMA), the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and applicable data-protection frameworks across Africa where we serve merchants.

1. Who We Are

Eazidek Technologies is a legally registered business under the Companies and Allied Matters Act 2020 with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Federal Republic of Nigeria:

  • Business name: EAZIDEK TECHNOLOGIES
  • Registration number: BN 9767211
  • Tax Identification Number (TIN): 2620920066498
  • Principal place of business: 5, Okelue Street, Nnebisi Road, Delta State, Nigeria
  • Regional office: Yakurr, Cross River State, Nigeria
  • Privacy and compliance enquiries: support@eazidek.shop

2. Information We Collect

  • Account information. The email address and encrypted password you use to sign in, plus optional Google OAuth credentials.
  • Business records. Invoices, sales receipts, customer contact details (names, phone numbers, WhatsApp numbers, emails), inventory lists, pricing tiers, expenses and store settings entered into your Eazidek workspace.
  • Branding and assets. Store trade name, bank account numbers for invoice settlement, and uploaded logos used to personalise PDF invoices and receipts.
  • Payment and billing data. Payment for your Eazidek software subscription is processed through Paystack and other supported payment providers. We do not store full credit or debit card numbers on our servers — only masked tokens, subscription transaction references and renewal timestamps. Customer sales transactions for your own goods and services are received directly by your business and are not processed by Paystack.
  • Usage and diagnostic data. Cookieless analytics to understand aggregated system load, and Sentry error diagnostics to fix server issues and monitor security.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, operate and maintain the Eazidek commerce operating system.
  • To generate branded WhatsApp PDF invoices, calculate automated VAT and withholding taxes, and log point-of-sale sales.
  • To process software subscription payments and manage active business workspace plans.
  • To dispatch transaction receipts, low-stock warnings and security verification codes.
  • To protect against fraud, unauthorised cashier access and platform abuse.
  • To comply with statutory bookkeeping, tax audit, and data-protection regulations in Nigeria and other jurisdictions where we operate.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA), the GDPR, and equivalent African data-protection frameworks, our processing of your data is grounded on:

  • Contractual performance. Providing the Eazidek invoicing and inventory service you registered for.
  • Legitimate interests. Securing cashier logins, preventing shrinkage and ensuring uninterrupted platform uptime.
  • Legal obligation. Maintaining accounting logs required by fiscal and corporate authorities in Nigeria and other jurisdictions where we operate.
  • Consent. Explicit user approval given at account signup and profile customisation.

5. Who We Share Data With

We do not sell, rent or monetise your commercial or personal data. We share data only with vetted infrastructure partners under confidentiality agreements:

  • Railway, Supabase and AWS. Cloud database, backup hosting and server infrastructure.
  • Paystack and supported payment gateways. Subscription billing and recurring software membership processing.
  • Vercel. Application edge delivery and privacy-compliant web analytics.
  • Sentry. Application error tracking and anomaly detection.
  • Resend. Transactional email verification and password reset delivery.

6. Data Retention and Tax Compliance

Your active workspace data remains accessible for the lifetime of your account. If you choose to delete your account, business records are immediately decoupled and removed from live production systems.

Statutory retention note. In compliance with Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) and Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA) bookkeeping regulations, summary financial transaction references and invoice VAT ledgers may be retained in encrypted audit archives for up to six years before permanent cryptographic destruction.

7. Your Data Subject Rights

Under the NDPA 2023 and applicable privacy standards, you hold the right to:

  • Access and inspect all personal and business data associated with your profile.
  • Rectify inaccurate records, or update banking and company details at any time.
  • Export a complete portable archive of your invoices, inventory and customer databases, available in Settings.
  • Request full account deletion and erasure of records.
  • Lodge a compliance enquiry with the relevant Data Protection Authority in your country — including the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC) — if you believe your rights were infringed.

8. Security Measures

Eazidek enforces 256-bit TLS/SSL transport encryption, tenant-isolated row-level access controls, automated daily cloud snapshots and cashier role limitations to protect your business records.
